Maintenance Supervisor I No Experience Required Maintenance Supervisor II One year full-time, wage-earning applicable experience. Technical or trade school courses in an applicable field may be substituted for experience. Maintenance Supervisor III Two years full-time, wage-earning applicable experience. Technical or trade school courses in an applicable field may be substituted for experience. Maintenance Supervisor IV 1. Four year full-time, wage-earning experience in the operation, maintenance, or repair of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration systems and equipment or an associate degree in HVAC or Refrigeration from a college or university accredited by CHEA or USDE and two years full-time, wage-earning experience in the operation and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems and equipment or completion of a program in HVAC or Refrigeration from a trade or technical school accredited by the CHEA or the USDE and three years full-time, wage-earning experience in the operation and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems and equipment, or by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) or completion of a program in HVAC or Refrigeration from a U.S Military Technical training school and three years full-time, wage-earning experience in the operation and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems and equipment. 2. Current Environmental Protection Agency approved Universal Refrigerant Containment Certification. Must maintain valid license(s) for continued employment in position.
